ParAvion Paragliding Centre has been registered
with the British Hang Gliding & Paragliding Association (BHPA),
since 1989 and is one of the most respected and successful schools in
the UK.
It is is owned and run by Trevor McLoughlin who is also our CFI (Chief Flying Instructor).
We
have a team of four Instructors; Trevor, Dave Cox, Lee Bligh and Jim Cochrane,
plus three Trainee Instructors; Sheena Findlay, Phillip Gregory and Simon
Payne. The shop and office is run by our Manager Justin McLoughlin.
We may be the biggest and most successful school in the south west,
but we also like to think we are the friendliest –
the kettle is always on and the tea and coffee is free. Please call in anytime for a chat, a drink or a look around our shop
- we have most things you're likely to need. There are DVDs you can
watch and books for you to look at in our classroom if we're a little
busy.
The school operates seven days a week (weather permitting), but the shop and office hours are as follows:

As you can see the shop closes on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday. The rest of the week we're open from 0930 to 1730. However, if you intend to make a special trip to see us, it's always best to call first to let us know - we wouldn't want to miss you because sometimes we may close for an hour or two (even the whole day if we're all out flying).
We are situated in the lovely Wiltshire countryside on the A4, just outside the market town of Marlborough. We are less than two hours drive time from central London and we can be reached from Reading, Oxford, Southampton or Bristol in under an hour.
